Robert Naeye is an award-winning freelance journalist based in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Bob served on the editorial staffs of Sky & Telescope, Astronomy, Mercury, and Discover magazines, including more than 6 years as editor in chief of S&T. He has authored two books and contributed to three others. He also worked for NASA, where he wrote a chapter about space telescopes for the space agency's 50th anniversary book. Bob has traveled and lectured all over the world, often with astronomy tour groups. He enjoys taking pictures of nature, famous landmarks, and cultural sites. Besides his love of photography, Bob listens to jazz, classical, and rock. He is an avid follower of soccer, particularly the English Premier League.
